Job Description:

Position: Senior android developer

Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities:

Deep expertise in one of the mobile platforms, preferably Android.

Touch gestures are at the core of every great mobile experience.  Previous Experience with working on apps involving various gestures is a plus. 

Knowledge of various network and data storage libraries is a must. Need to have good understanding of various caching strategies so as to make the app perform during flaky network conditions. 

Debugging mobile apps is considerably challenging. Need some insight into optimal debugging practices, collecting crash data and analytics from real-world usage to identify bottlenecks in the app etc. 

This role isn’t just about building mobile apps. This is about revolutionsing online shopping for millions and making it such easy to use that it feels like just taking a stroll in the park

Responsibilities:

·       Assist in the configuration/build-out of amazing new products for the mobile web to facilitate a better shopping experience for consumers

·       Work with dev team to harden, enhance, document, and generally improve the compatibility of our products across multiple platforms

Skills & Requirements

Requirements:

·       A BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech / MS in computer sciences from one of the reputed Universities.

·       2+ years professional programming and mobile application development experience.

·       Experience with multiple programming languages, frameworks and databases. Extensive experience with at  Java.

·       Experience with android stack, phonegap etc.knowledge of libraries like ActionBarSherlock helpful. 

·       Pragmatic and agnostic to a particular technology solution or methodology.

·       Excellent time management and communication skills.

·       Ability to handle jobs independently if the need arises

·       Quick learner, able to grasps new technologies well

·       Should be able to stretch beyond working hours when needed.
